Castle Oaks Golf Course is surrounded by the rolling hills of Amador County, just outside of the historical Gold Rush City of Ione, California.
 LPGA-USGA Girls Golf was formed to create a network for girls to learn to play golf, build friendships and sample completition in a positive and supportive learning environment. The only national initiative of its kind just for girls, the program provides the opportunity to achieve success, progress in golf and establish a life-long interest in the game.
The factors that distinguish LPGA-USGA Girls Golf from other junior programs are:
- the multi-levels of instruction for varied abilities;
- the concept of creating a "network" for girls; and
- themed golf events.

In many areas there are only a few girls who participate in golf at a facility. The program brings them together under one umbrella, assuring the support and friendships that encourage girls to progress in golf.
The administrative, education, communication, and marketing functions of the LPGATour, the LPGATeaching and Club Professional (T&CP) Membership and the LPGA Foundation are managed from LPGA headquarters in Daytona, Florida. |
